Here is a list of some of the typical features that can be added to a website. A website can include one or more of these features.
Blog | An online journal with dated entries that can be used to store business or personal updates. WordPress was originally designed as blogging software. Here’s an example. |
Text Pages | Along with blog posts, one of the most basic content types in WordPress. The page you’re viewing now is an example of a text page with a table embedded in it. |
Videos and Images | Individual videos and images can be embedded in text pages, or galleries of them embedded in a web page (there are both free and paid options for galleries). To save storage, large collections of images and videos can be stored offsite on services like Vimeo, Youtube, and Flickr. |
